I also became more antisocial, more serious and more pesimistic
I hate my age and miss my old self

Answers:

Because mommy and daddy and whoever where there to bake you cupcakes, bandage your wounds, feed and house you, and pay your expenses. Now it all on you to survive. Fairy-tale over. Get out, get a job, and support yourself until death do you part.

Your mind must grow along with your age. You must think and believe that it's a development towards something good and prosperity. Don't give room to negative thoughts in your mind. Negative thoughts are negative forces. They are spirits.

Human beings are ruled by spirits but humans must learn to control and rule the spirits. Spirits possess people according to the mental state of the human beings and keep them in the same state until they are rejected and replaced by another. This is an all time phenomena occurring in all humans. Human beings are always under the influence of spirits. Certain situations and circumstances causes the possession of certain type of spirits. Often thinking and talking about bad subjects or bad imaginations even for fun can take serious turns on one who think and talk. All spirits (good and bad) have the dominating character. They can take you to the extent of sacrifice or suicide.

All of your activities, talks and even thoughts determine what kind of spirits you will have for your life. Only these spirits are the reason for the good and bad happening in your life. Generally spirits determine your destiny from your daily activities, talks and thoughts too. All knowledge, skills, emotions, feelings, interests and everything are spirits. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another they think and you just listen and choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. All human beings are just unprogrammed robots made of flesh, bones, tissues etc., by birth and toys of the spirits for their games.

How you engage with life all comes down to choice and so if you are feeling unhappy with where you are at right now, do a stocktake of your overall life and lifestyle and shake it up. Being 25 does not have to equate to being antisocial and pessimistic, that has become your choice so look back to when you felt yourself changing. Identifying the trigger will better help you understand yourself. Think about what is important to you, and what priorities you have in your life, if any. Only you can know what you want from life, and what you get stems from what you put into each day. If you are feeling miserable, make different choices. Remember, you are the only person responsible for your thoughts, actions and reactions.

The only reason it is gone is because you changed yourself to try fitting in.
You can still recapture your youth any time you want to.
Stop worrying about what others think and do.

You know why your teen years were so much fun? Because you lived them right. If you aren't having any fun in your 20's you aren't living these years right. Change up your plan, do things outside of the box you have created for yourself. Your goals can still be achieved with more fun, but you need to change you.

And no ... your youth is still alive and well. Don't waste it any longer.

Well, isolation certainly isn't a good thing. According to Proverbs 18:1 - "Whoever isolates himself pursues his own selfish desires; He rejects all practical wisdom."
There are still things that you can do now that you did when you were in your teens. Really, nothing is stopping you. Even though you're older, doesn't necessarily mean your youth is gone. In Bible times young men your age were considered children (youths). Mainly, it's all in the way you view life now, your outlook which you can control. Enjoy the now.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 says: "Remember, then, your Grand Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of distress come and the years arrive when you will say: “I have no pleasure in them”;
Wishing you in a better frame of mind.

No one told you to get more mature.

You can remain as you were, you age has nothing to do with it. The only thing that would cause you to mature is pressure from the social construct that you should act more grown up when you get older.

I am 21, still play games and watch anime, same as I did when I was 16 I have no interest in changing that because I have always enjoyed doing those things. I don't intend to change no matter how I old I get physically.

Mentally, i have the mind of a 17 year old and enough knowledge to not appear stupid.

Life is change. The only thing that never changes, is dead things.

maybe you should try to do the same things when you were younger if you miss it so much
