I'm trying to sell things on Facebook and on some of those apps, and i noticed people are very rude. They'll say they're interested, we might make plans, and then I hear nothing. I ask is they are still interested and still nothing. I underst

Answers:

Consider the platform. We've invented various modes of communication that do little but reduce actual communication. Facebook is one of those.

They may be too busy posting nonsense about the great life they imagine.
It is very rude that people can't spend a few seconds being normal, polite humans.

Yes, you are more considerate than most people. That sort of thing bothers me too.

well not many people want to be the bearer of bad news. no means bad news to most people. and most people take no personally. so what your complaing about is why do they have so much empathy that they can't be honest.. They like your pitch. so they want to say yes to the pitch but they don't beleive or trust you well enought to make the commitment.

personally sounds to me you need to brush up on your pitch. your not making it sound slike it is life or death like most people in advertising dose. you need to pull on those heart strings to reach the people you want to reach.

sounds like this should be in marketing but the phychology behind marketing Should be it's own topic. in my opinion.
either way why are you taking maybes as possiblies yes. that has a lot on your own phycie why are you reading maybes if you don't get a response then mark it off as a no. thats somethign you personally can do to avoid this.

people don't response tho for many reasons not just the one i listed above. it could be because somethign shiney appeared and to them not you them it's more imporant than what ever message you sent.

so unless your in their shoes living their life and you have their mind stop assuming.
take care.
and good luck. however i'm also intested in what your selling message me i want to see your message .. i have worked in media /advertising for the last 15+ years its' my career choice. so i do know a lot about it. and ways you can increase your stuff and responses. however i dont' hadn that out for free on the internet messages tho is a different story it helps me feel like i'm helping on person and people are not taking advantage of me yeah i know i got issues to .. we all do. deal with it!
