Answers:

Sure

So at Thanksgiving, will you call the turkey Cat before you eat it?

It sounds great, one of my dogs is named cheese. I don’t know why I named him cheese.

Yes

I rather think the cat won't care what you call it

If you like it, its a good name. Just keep in mind about how it sounds when you are calling Here Turkey :)

Turk sounds better.

I met a cat the other day named Pancake. Cats rarely come when called, so it doesn't matter. You can name the cat Shitbag for all it cares.

I had a GF in Utah, who decided to call her new puppy 'Nika' - it has some greek or roman significance and she thought it was pretty cool

she only realized it wasn't such a good name, one evening when the puppy went missing and she had to walk around a mixed race neighborhood calling 'NIKA... NIKA... NIKA'

i guess the moral is: Do you care what other people think? if so, then have a good think about how the the name sounds, first

Honestly, the cat doesnt care.

Good
